April 2005: Rykel Limited launch Rykel Fabrications
Rykel Limited has invested over £300,000 in the latest laser cutting equipment and software, metal forming equipment and powder painting facility. This will enable Rykel to offer a fully integrated engineering service to their blue-chip clients. Rykel Ltd employs over fifty people living on the Wirral and this new facility will help secure and expand employment in the area.
This is the latest in a series of investments by Rykel Ltd over the last few years, which has seen the company grow from being a precision engineering machine shop trading as Dieline, to serving clients in diverse industries such as semiconductor manufacturing technologies and scientific instruments, with a full range of contract manufacturing and assembly services.
Rykel Ltd has invested over £600,000 in new plant and equipment over the last three years, ranging from orbital welding equipment to five axis machining.
Don Kelly, Managing Director at Rykel Ltd, said:
“Over the last few years we have been continually investing in our services, to the tune of £600,000. This new facility will compliment our existing capabilities, including five axis machining, clean room assembly, and welding and fabrication, allowing us to offer a fully integrated range of engineering services under the one roof.
“Other developments have included the recent introduction of a 24 hour manufacturing capability, thus shortening our lead times and ensuring we provide the highest levels of quality and service for our clients.”
